The Production Manager role is based in Middlebranch, OH.

What you’ll get to do

  • Lead plant production operations in accordance with the market’s product requirements to ensure a high-quality product

  • Identify and provide development opportunities and motivate staff resulting in a reliable and competent workforce

  • Identify operational bottlenecks, provide technical assistance and follow-up

  • Define annual and multi-year CAPEX plan for new projects

  • Ensure co-operation with maintenance and operational departments

  • Assist in managing a monthly budget and communicate outcomes to the production team

  • Optimize inventory and usage of raw materials

  • Manage all operational fixed costs

  • Develop and sustain the continuous improvement process for industrial Key Production Indicators

  • Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of corporate guidelines, conducting training, and monitoring compliance

  • Proactively managing health & safety of employees to continuously improve the company's health & safety performance

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical related field or equivalent experience.

  • Prior experience managing staff; demonstrated experience to lead, manage and motivate others

  • Minimum of 5 years of materials operation experience

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, problem solving and creativity, strategic thinking, and decision making ​

  • Strong communication skills to ensure coordination of work and completion of tasks

  • Experience working with large rotating heavy industry machinery and equipment

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products including MS Excel, Word, Access, and Project

  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred

  • Understanding of contractual matters (negotiation and legal aspects)

Work Environment

  • Role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions
