The Plant Engineer is based in Leeds, AL and reports directly to the Plant Manager. This position is responsible for providing engineering support to plant operations.

What you’ll get to do:

• Participate in plant production, maintenance, and electrical meetings

• Complete assigned project work, in a wide range of areas including automation, water treatment, maintenance projects, production, safety and environmental.

• Conduct root cause analysis.

• Participate in Continuous Improvement Program by suggesting changes in routines, personnel, equipment improvement, and process improvement

• Follow plant and MSHA/OHSA Safety Policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment. Maintain an awareness of plant environmental standards. Takes corrective action to address minor problems or reports compliance issues to the appropriate department for resolution.

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s in engineering or science based discipline required or equivalent experience.

• Preference given to those with experience in any of the following areas:

o MSHA

o OSHA

o Water Treatment

o Automation and control systems

o Heavy industrial, construction, or mining.

• Recent graduates with a desire to learn welcome.

• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with 24-hour operations.
