Lehigh Hanson is seeking a qualified Excavator Operator . The Excavator Operator is responsible for loading haul trucks in pit area.

Responsibilities
Conduct a thorough safety inspection daily on equipment and fill out all required paperwork
Safe, effective utilization of equipment to load haul trucks and clear overburden ahead of mining operation
Assist in moving pit pumps
Daily preventive maintenance and lubrication of equipment
Monitor unusual vibrations, noise or wear patterns and inform supervisor
Other job duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of four years’ experience operating similar equipment
Ability to work overtime as needed
Ability to operate equipment for long periods of time
Frequently lift 10 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Have some mechanical knowledge
