CADMAN is currently looking for a responsible, safe, and dependable Plant Operator to join our local team. In this position you are responsible for operating and troubleshooting a soil remediation plant, including managing the operation of our soil plant treating petroleum contaminated material, this is a 2nd or 3rd shift position, 2nd shift hours are 2:00pm to 10:00pm, 3rd shift hours are 10:00pm to 6:00am , shift differential is paid.

What You Will Get to Do:

  • Operate the soil plant within pre-defined guidelines, maintaining required temperatures and throughput

  • Examine materials, ingredients, or products visually or by hand to ensure conformance to established standards

  • Report any deviations from the norm that might impact production, quality or processing efficiencies

  • Responsible for compliance with applicable environmental regulations as it relates to the proper operation of plant equipment.

  • Responsible for daily inspection of facilities and will complete maintenance checklist.

  • Will operate a front end loader when needed and perform normal plant repair and maintenance as required.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Previous asphalt plant, ready-mix and/or aggregate plant experience a plus

  • Must be able to effectively communicate and safely follow directions

  • Must have ability to operate Loader and other yard equipment as needed

  • Desire to work cooperatively as part of a productive team

  • Ability to work safely, and independently without constant supervision

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions

  • In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on varied terrain

  • Ability to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime required
