HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO

Do you consider yourself organized and detail oriented? Would you like to work in an office atmosphere that is casual yet bustling? Lehigh Hanson is seeking a Sales Administrator who can multi-task and wants to be part of the Sales team! The position will be responsible for administration and maintenance of the sales order and invoice processing for our Eastern Canada and Western New York regions. Additionally, this position will support other sales office responsibilities such as pricing, accounts receivable, and customer service for Lehigh Hanson North

Primary responsibilities include the following

  • Oversee and maintain all aspects of the sales order process and invoicing

  • Resolve customer billing issues and questions

  • Work in SAP to generate reports for multiple sales functions.

  • Communicate with customers and sales personnel regarding collection and reconciliation of accounts receivable.

  • Assist sales staff, customer service, and logistics management with special projects.

  • Oversee pricing data and execute price changes as required by sales.

  • Assist the sales team and credit departments with requests from customers.

  • Interface with the Credit and Shared Services departments regarding invoicing and credit problems.

  • Sign up accounts for electronic invoicing and SAP support.

  • Preparation of daily and monthly reports.

  • Research and resolve all carrier payment issues. Handle all carrier payments related to sales order processing (accessorial payments).

  • Cross train and support other Sales Administrators.

  • Assist and backup Customer Service Team as required by management.

  • Maintain Sales Tax Certifications per audit guidelines

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental regulations and with company policies and procedures; as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions

This position will be located in Bath, PA .

HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • High school diploma required; Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Finance preferred.

  • General business experience, preferably in the construction industry.

  • Prior experience supporting a sales organization preferred.

  • Basic understanding of Accounting Practices and Financial Reporting

  • Superior computer skills including all aspects of MS Office with an emphasis on database management and Excel. Working knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution module a plus.

  • Basic knowledge of the cement industry and cement products

  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to perform duties with minimum direction within company guidelines

  • Ability to work overtime, including holidays, as needed

  • Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

  • Up to 25% travel may be required.
